i dont know if this is important but i have reflashed the old bitfile:
this is the new one:
i dont know if the sequence is important but in the old one it went from 5t0 and in the new one from 0 to 4 and then the stepgen. With the old one it starts without a problem and outputs the PWM signal. In the new bitfile pin 1 (0) and 47 (23) has PWM as the secondary function. Maybe thats the problem

would it be possible to make a Step/Dir only Bitfile?

P1 = 7i52s (6 Step/Dir + 6 Encoder)
P2 = 7i52s (6 Step/Dir + 6 Encoder) (i dont have a second 7i52s yet but very likely in future)
P3 = 7i44
