You are way north of me (Cols, Ohio)
How much documentation came with your machines, schematics , parts list , manuals ,etc. ?
Did your machines include the separate (external) 3 phase 208 thru 480 volt primary to 380 volt secondary Xfmr. ? Or how are you powering op the machines ?
Stay warm
Bob

Bob,
Here are the manuals I have. There may be more buried in some other boxes.
I did get the step-up transformers with the machines. Things weigh a ton!

Looks as if you have enough reading material to get thru the weekend .
May I suggest that if you can ,try to get the machine parameters from the machines as they may have been tweaked over time and would be more useful than the punched tape machine parameters. Also who has a tape reader any-more
I have one transformer on casters and two MH600E plus a MH600E2 . We are wheeling !
After your machines get settled in for the long winters night , let me know and maybe we can help each other with documentation. Copy it to DVD or USB pen drives.
Think snow if you wish ,but don't wish it on me ----
Bob.

It looks like Heidenhain only published a TNC 131 service manual.
Did you also download the other manuals. The "Anbauanleitungs und Schnittstellen-Beschreibung" means installation and interfaces, which is probably also very useful.

Hi db 1981, Mark,
I haven't been able to find the Service manual for the TNC 135 on the Heidenhain Web Site but found the TNC131 Service manual.

Hello Chris and Brad,
sorry i have done a mistake, because of some lost data in my "brain memory".....
Power up the TNC on the bench again, and press 2 times the CE button. Does something changes?
All red lights instead of the one above the manual Button has to go off, and the green led in the right display has to go
to off state.
Please check the Software number on your tnc for further tests.

hi
the 135st is a spetial thing for 1motor 3axis mill
with the dip switches you can tell the controll how the axis are in coordinate like G17/G18
also a reverse of the X is posible
the controll only got a view parameters
its mostly a Elko that troubles the control breakdown
does your mashene got the older ls803 linescales on
that also got a special 135st version i discoverd

Hi,
thats not full correct:
The ST has nothing to do with 1 or 3 Motors, this depends only on the Software Version and the dip switches.
S - is for 0,04mm scales 11uA, instead R ist for TTL input 0,1mm
T - is 1000 block memory, without T 500 Blocks
TNC135B has 4 fold insteed of 8 fold encoder counting.

Mark an others as in you'ns
Thanks for the cold morning MAHO cheer!
Has anyone figured out what the 19x2 socket is used for , located in center area of large relay board .
Any idea what a price range might be for a MH600E slotter head ? Also wonder if MH500-MH600-MH700 heads are interchangeable?
Bob
