Have digged thru most of the topic and have to say i'm AMAZED
Recently i've bought a MH500E with intention to retrofit (in almost mint condition) but as i powered it up at my place the brain show some signs of life Currently i'm having typical Estop chain problems but that is a promising sign
Can i ask where did you get those nice wiring schemas? Would love to have them Or at least the full Estop chain wiring cause atm it's my main problem Standard I05 after boot and in 1/50 tries to start it passes I05 and goes X07 and Y07...
Any advices much appreciated
PS Sorry for my language but i'm not native english speaker

You should contact DMG, they hve the wiring diagrams for all machines. There is a placard on the electrical cabinet door with the schematic number.

Congratulation on getting yet another GREEN machine . No sorry needed , just felt a compulsion to kid you . Bet you were scaling a wall of worry until it was safely next to the MAHO. For a long distance acquisition it seems to have turned out A-ok . Think the swarf gods are keeping you close . Will the Princess of Rain be getting some Swiss chocolate covered cherries ?
Feel this is going to be another great build thread/ journey of yours , and a big Thanks for sharing it with us .
Bob
P.S. Noticed the house across your street has two garages ,could be used for storing wood - lawnmowers - sisters

Hello everyone;
After a 2nd long gap I finally have the time to begin my Deckel FP5 retrofit......... Hopefully.
Mark;
Would you mind posting a general outline of the major steps that were needed to get your Maho converted. I had done a lot of research in the past but ist now been years.
With the experience you have at this point, are there any major change you would make? Such as the CNC control boards etc.
Thanks.

Send me an email (you can get the address from the info page of my YouTube channel), and I can send you my notes.
You will need to modify the gearbox.comp, as the Deckel gearbox is little different than the Maho system.
