ISO for a sysvinit distribution

Any images that we release officially need to be set up to get updates from the LinuxCNC repository (www.linuxcnc.org/dists)
This way updates are automatically served to installations.
To do this we need to get 2.8 released, but the release manager has gone very quiet. Then we need signed debs put in the right places on the server.
I can (and have) made the debs but I don't have the signing keys to sign them with.
If someone else with experience of putting together ISO images wants to step forward and take over the release manager role for 2.8 that would probably be welcomed.

hopefully they will end up being the official LinuxCNC images.

Oops, I forgot we are now mortal enemies because we shut our borders this week to keep the vermin south of the border out!

It's a Rugby League thing, annual State vs State best of 3 games thing..... something like Rugby Union, but not in the same class.
Tho this year we may have to settle it by throwing insults at each other, as even throwing rocks at each other is probably banned by this Social Isolation thing.
