The 8 degrees in the shop today were almost comfy. So I wired the Terminals in the console.

And I straightened the bugger with some not to gentle blows with the hammer.

And now the Panay sits well and I can start to figure out where to put the computer.

Installed the monitor and the computer. Also mounted the servo to determine the cable length.

Now all the wires in the console are finished and I closed the cable channel

Hi,

sorry muss mal in Deutsch zwischenfragen...

Cleaning parts is never fun but most of them are done now. Just the two biggest housing parts I have left for later.
While cleaning some of them I wish I had opted for more wire work today

Fetched the hopefully fitting Tailstock today:

Ohne Titel

It came with a center, so at least I have some cast Iron and a fitting center.

Looks pretty beefy. Hope it fits your lathe well.

Sometimes when it sounds to cheap / good to be true, it simply isn't.
I found the fitting nipples for the oiler, and they arrived today. And I realized they are missing the pistons. So instead of the 50 quid fo the nipples I need the whole distributors, so it's 280 then and waiting again. Lead time is end of April.
Damn it
