Ahh, I missed that
As far as the spindle speed changing goes, it would probably be helpful to
disable the PID/feedback, in case there's something odd going on there.
Disable the feedback by setting all PID terms to 0 except FF0 so the
PID component is just a pass through.
Another thing for debugging would be to dump all the hal pins when
things are working correctly and when misbehaving:
halcmd show all > ok.txt
halcmd show all > bad.txt
and post the results here.

I found the issue with G1 — it's an easy fix. When I stop the program while it's running with G96, there is a G95 command loaded just before it. But when I start the program from the beginning, there's no G94 command in the G-code.
The PID problem is caused by the pid.s.maxerror constant — I had accidentally used the same name twice. I'm also adding the issue with Gmoccapy as described in the relevant topic. forum.linuxcnc.org/20-g-code/44739-g96-issue

Hello again, it's been a while. I'm now back working on the lathe machine. I connected the Modbus to the X and Y axis servo motors and also to the spindle – all working fine. I can read the load values from the servo motors without problems. But there is an issue with the spindle load display. Sometimes it shows too many zeros after the decimal point. I tried to fix this with Python code to cut the extra zeros, but I couldn't make it work. Has anyone had this problem before?
What is the easiest way to fix it?

New video
I had forgotten that the spindle ratio setting was not set correctly. I had 8192 in the ini file, the new value is 14700. image missing /media/kunena/emoticons/silly.png

After replacing the processor there are no warning messages or the machine stops.
I made a new video a little long but it is a compilation of all the operations. The hydraulic chuck are missing :side:
PS:
Hello,
I had a rough week with my small lathe. After the workpiece slipped out of the jaws, the X-axis went out of alignment and had to be realigned. Luckily, that was the only damage. ?

After sudo apt update I started getting errors in real time (the old song in a new voice
) I tried many things and finally this helped: sudo apt install iproute2
sudo tc qdisc replace dev enol root pfifo_fast
