Pete's been making some great progress. He's working on a SPI version for the RPi for those that want that option.
I'm just uploading an image for the RPi with LitexCNC drivers and tools to build firmware, yes it does include Linuxcnc v2.9.
If you wander over to github.com/Peter-van-Tol/LiteX-CNC and read the discussions section you'll find out more.

Yes. It is working very good. Maybe perfect :side:
I use it for my lathe and for a 3 axis mill.
pwm output is used to generate 0-10V signal for the vfd of the mill.
on the lathe I use a 10.000ppr spindle encoder with high frequency optocouplers, which works perfect.
G76, G33 cycles and constant surface speed - no problems.
Finished already about 400 parts on my lathe. And this with a buggy version of litexcnc. And this bug is solved now :woohoo:
Peter did a great job the last weeks

Please fell free to download my maschine setup.
It includes the setup for my lathe.
There are 4 stepgens available.
2 Encoders with A, B, Z inputs
3 PWM channels
general GPIOs
Communication to VFD via modbus, mb2hal component.
in the firmware folder are the config JSON and the prebuilt bitfile.
It uses colorlight 5A-75B board
Ip address 192.168.178.150
You can add or change to your needs. Think this is a good basic to start.

I took the development of Litex-CNC to a
new topic
.Feel free to post suggestions and questions in that topic, or post them on the
