Pegasus,
Weren't you sending that ATC board to Intelitek for evaluation?
Haven't heard an update.
What part of the country are you in?
I don't want specific address, just general area.
I do some limited traveling and it is possible I'm going through your area and could stop and maybe help.
These Benchman machines are my babies and I hate seeing them act up.

Until you get rid of that initializing the control board error, nothing I do can help. The last I understood, Intelitek was getting motherboards (computers) through Dell, but that was a dozen years ago now.

Ok sounds good, appreciate the help. Would me not having this "shorting plug" cause this issue? I dont have a 4th axis. Also noticed j3 and j4 connectors are not plugged in on the ATC board. I will check the schematic see which one goes where. I noticed it before but figured it's not part of the breakoutboard, shouldnt cause an issue.

I did send the ATC board to Intelitek and they were able to repair the board (I believe they had to install and reflash a new eprom) and they got it working on their in-house XT. But when I installed it on my machine I couldn't get it to work; it basically did the same thing it was doing before. I may send it back and have them take another look, but I worry that there's something going on with my machine that may be frying the ATC board. I'm in the Los Angeles area BTW. I'm considering installing a bypass switch and just running the pneumatic drawbar manually.

You will need a motherboard with a full size ISA slot for the Nextmove card.
New ones are hard to come by these days.

I did a quick Google, and they don't appear to be that hard to find. A few on Amazon, for example.

I stand corrected.
Motherboards are available with ISA slots.
Thanks Andy!

That's great thanks for the diagram! Would not having this cause the no connection error? I did a fresh NT install with no luck and now am on the hunt for a pentium 3 in my area.

I'm trying to get a VMC 4000 back together but I don't have any wiring schematics. Does anyone have any diagrams for this? Even a few pictures of an open rear panel would really help me out. Right now I'm trying to get the wiring for the head reconnected.

Thanks,
