Ok I did that. now I have this problem. I hit begin execute, it goes to the x and y, then z goes down until it trips the floating switch, then it backs up and goes down again tripping the switch for a second time. After this it just goes strait up and stops doing anything. Linux says floating switch activated program paused

Ok so scratch everything. I’m beyond annoyed with this especially since it’s the last step to getting my machine finished so I’m trying to figure out what I can. With that I deleted Inkscape completely. I have now installed Inkscape again, i now have version 1.01 here’s my issue now

I think there might be a confusion between Python 2.7 and Python 3. This has some info.

Ive started trying other programs bc im having an annoying amount of problems with inkscape. Im trying librecad now and like it so far. its easy and closer to what im use to. i have one question at the moment, how do i save files as gcode? what else do i need?
I have the same questions for FreeCAD

I never used both just Autocad but if librecad or freecad save in dxf format you can convert dxf to gcode, i read about it at cnczone, never converted anything yet. The gcode i know is from 3d printer and dont follow the standard i think.
