5i25-7177 pack and go frimware was created by PMCD
I'm located in Australia and retrofitting a Weeke Homag BP80 and I am getting close to configuring the machine.
I have a separate power supply to TB1 and field power to TB2 and the boards are jumpered to suit.
C16 on the 7i77 is red, does this mean I have to update the firmware.
Regards
Peter

CR16 should be red when LinuxCNC is not running
You can check the installed firmware by running:
sudo mesaflash --device 5i25 --readhmid

Linuxcnc is running and I still have a red light on C16 7i77.
There is no reference to the 7i77 after running
sudo mesaflash --device 5i25 --readhmid

Sorry BB I don't understand what you mean by "what output are you getting"
This is all a bit new to me but I will not let it beat me. Just trying to figure out what is causing the red C16. I read on another thread that the incorrect firmware was installed on a board, not sure if I have the same problem.
