I thought that is what he meant but I can't copy and paste the file from the CNC computer to the one I'm on now and I'm not sure what I am supposed to see. It lists the I/O connections P3 and P2 at the bottom of the page.
There are no error messages.

Try this:
sudo mesaflash --device 5i25 --readhmid > readhmid.txt
copy readhmid.txt to a USB stick
then on the computer you are posting on attach readhmid.txt

Simples.........You're not a Cane Toad are you ? ;)

The output has been redirected. Was the file created?

[edit]

Looks like you have the firmware for 2 x 7i76.

Try loading the firmware for 7i77. You can find it here:
www.mesanet.com/software/parallel/5i25.zip

The .bit files are what you load and the .pin files describe the pin allocations.

If you have a look at the ouptut for my 7i92 which is for a 7i76 it's the same.

Cane Toads come from Queensland & Cockroaches come from NSW. It's to do with the state Rugby League teams having a dig at each other during State of Origin. Which is a best of 3 competition between NSW & Queensland. League players and fans aren't of the same calibre as their Union counterparts.

The whole thing of Queensland being infested by cane toads was a bad bad idea.More info here:
