Thank You. Fortunately, I remembered this thread when I ran into the multi nm-tray problem. Now I need to know how to get the nm-tray or some other app to work so I can edit my network connections.

I just installed the 2.8.2 version from the downloads page. Then applied this fix.

P.S. The nm-tray started working. Not sure why.

Does anyone know how to fix this nm-tray problem in the _Installer_?

At the moment all that the installer script does is add it as a package in one file.
