Hi all
I have downloaded the tool turret for a Boxford 160 and imported into .ko file i can get it to rotate but it goes of to fast and loses position
how does the Hal file interact with the installed boxford download?
and how do i slow it down ?
I think I'm missing something but don't know what any help would be great
kind regards turners

Is it stepper or DC motor driven?
Can you link us to the component that you are using, so that we are definitely looking at the same thing?

HI could you have a look at my file I keep getting errors somehow x axis moves but goes the wrong direction z axis doesn't now move but should go back to hard stop. The A axis rotates but just misses the paw on reverse, but it also occasionally goes of random when going t1 to t8 it wants to reverse or spins forward and misses the paw. could anyone explain what im do wrong please
hopefully file is attached if you need more info let me know.

"These move figures are only half the actual move in degrees. The scaling takes care of the distance actually moved.
There is a very good reason for this.
It prevents the stepgen seeing any move as being in excess of 180degrees, therefore all moves between tool stations will be forward moves.
If you command a move to a position which is say 270degrees on a angular axis, the stepgen will try to move 90degress backwards
to get to the same point by the shortest route.
In theory unlinking the stepgen dir signal and using our own should work, but it didn't and the axis wanted to go backwards all
the time despite the flag being set at TRUE (FWD).
As this worked perfectly, I preserved my sanity and just left well alone."
Is your A axis actually configured to move twice as far as requested?

my a xis in ini file?
66.76 ?
i have uploaded my files could you check I'm unsure where to change
what does this mean?
In theory unlinking the stepgen dir signal and using our own should work, but it didn't and the axis wanted to go backwards all
the time despite the flag being set at TRUE (FWD). is it already unlinked in tool changer file.
thanks for you time
