I switched from pins 4 and 5 because of the problem went to 8 and 9 worked fine for a while. Now back to the same fault.

OK swapped z axis pins from 6 and 7 to 4 and 5 as they were empty it works so not the board itself so is something to do with the signal from a axis pins how to test please?

OK must be board related how do I test the capacitor?Top yellow wire is the step motionAnd bottom yellow wire is directionWhich goes to easy power gs d200s there's a black capacitor?? On there so need to test

First, get a good soldering iron and resolder those pins on the IC's, the one on the right side of the picture looks especially bad.

That was just running a new stepconfig
Does linux remember previous settings?
I haven't changed anything then next day went back to rotating same direction.

Made no difference on velocity. I swapped over x and a axis on drivers the fault follows the driver wiring or driver need to rule out grounding issues can you tell me what I can put my multimeter to and how to test the signals? ?
