Is 7I77 W1 in the left hand position?

Its in the right hand position to isolate it from the field power. I'm guessing I read that wrong and it should be in the right position so the 5v in powers both the logic and field 5v. w5 is in the right hand position. I'm thinking that the 7i76 will likely have the same problem once I get through the 7i77

W1 has nothing to do with logic power, it should be left in the default (left) position
Field power is always separate

That likely means that either

1. There is a power issue on the 7I76
2. You dont have the right firmware (7I77_7I76) loaded
3. The sserial ports (3 and 4) on the 7I76 connector are not enabled in hal
