Hey that looks great - like the purple in there.
I think we should add this as a sample screen.
Looks like someone has got gladevcp to work with gtk3 so Gscreen could live on longer.

I realize some buttons are non-standard. The MACH 0 button moves the machine to absolute 0,0,0 position while the WORK 0 button moves it to relative 0,0,0. There may not actually be a reason to do this and could be changed in the future. I have a laser crosshair for marking 0,0 of the workpiece and the LASER 0 button sets the appropriate offsets. The TOUCHOFF button simply does a probe motion down to a touch plate for setting workpiece Z height. I also added a tool sensor and remapped M6 to automatically set Z offset height when enabled. When enabled, the BLOCK HEIGHT button becomes active and you set the workpiece height as measured from the table to the top of the workpiece.

The purple just matches the CRUX theme. I did a lot of searching for themes at deviant-art and some others but finally decided to stick with available system themes.

Here's another look with minimal colours and a brushed aluminum appearance.
