Lathe Macros

Can I ask if any users of the macros have found that the latest version, with LinuxCNC 2.9.x is very slow? At the moment my whole UI is very slow to respond to button presses etc.
I hope it's not like that for everyone?
My guess is that the redraw/resize is being called continuously, but I haven't found the time to investigate yet.

Hi just found this very intresting tool.
Installed it and was able to get the lathe make some  moves.
I tried the radius funktion but unfortunaly  it just made some weird steps to the blank.
Is there an Documentation how to set the parameters corect?

The idea is that the images make the parameters self-explanatory.

All of the macros start from the current position of the tool.

So to machine a radius on the end of a bar you would set the diameter of the bar in the diameter box, the Z of the end of the bar in the Z box, enter the required radius.
Make sure the correct radius position radio button is selected.

For an external radius on the right-hand end of the work you then jog the tool tip to somewhere just outside the material diameter, and just to the right of the material end, and press the button.
