Guten Morgen Peter,

vielen Dank für deine Hilfe

beim booten erhalte ich folgende Meldung

(1 of 2) Job logrotate.service/start running (43s / no limit)
(2 of 2) Job ifupdown-pre.service/start running (45s / 3min)

Auf was muss man achten?

cnc@cnc:~$ halcmd show param *.tmax
Parameters:
Owner   Type  Dir         Value  Name
    36  s32   RW              0  hm2_7i96s.0.read-request.tmax
    36  s32   RW        2563480  hm2_7i96s.0.read.tmax
    36  s32   RW         529484  hm2_7i96s.0.write.tmax
    29  s32   RW         134036  motion-command-handler.tmax
    29  s32   RW         166416  motion-controller.tmax
    39  s32   RW          27492  pid.s.do-pid-calcs.tmax
    39  s32   RW          29268  pid.x.do-pid-calcs.tmax
    39  s32   RW          28128  pid.x2.do-pid-calcs.tmax
    39  s32   RW          27220  pid.y.do-pid-calcs.tmax
    39  s32   RW          26944  pid.z.do-pid-calcs.tmax
    30  s32   RW        2727116  servo-thread.tmax

Erwin

I don't see anything obvious wrong (SSD/DISK errors can cause large latency spikes but I did not see any)

One thing is that you have lots of things in your kernel command line, on similar hardware (intel CPU and MAC) that's
working, I just have (other than the hard disk specific info):

ro quiet splash intel_idle.max_cstate=1 processor.max_cstate=1 idle=poll intel_idle.max_cstate=1 i915.enable_dc=0 isolcpus=3 i915.enable_rc6=0

Guten Abend Peter,

forum.linuxcnc.org/38-general-linuxcnc-q...-irq-affinity#292969

Erwin

Try this ISO.
drive.google.com/file/d/12adxkk6DU2fTYJb.../view?usp=drive_link

Last latency test shows excursions beyond visible area, so the BIOS stuff regarding power saving and hyperthreating seems not disabled. All those must be disabled.

Can you run this and report the results?

sudo chrt 99 ping -i .001 -c 60000 -q 10.10.10.10

(will run for 1 minute)
