spumco post=319783 userid=28776Ok, I do have a Fusion 360 subscription that requires internet...

But I knew about that ahead of time as well as forced updates.  Eyes wide open on that one.

of course while on that subject

The way I have seen the whole situation on Bambu is this.
Yes I own an X1C. I had recommended the same to a friend. Then within a month of said purchase
this new "Beta" firmware was being set for release. It's implications warranted my recommending
my friend to cancel his order because I will not recommend a company, service, or device that tries
to change it's terms of sale or service after the purchase. No this isn't even remotely close to the
first company to try the frog in the frying pan tactics. But since that's been done by numerous entities
in the past from manufacturers to governments. and hilariously it's usually in the name of safety
and security. In reality it's about profits and control. I don't see it a coincidence that Bambu Lab did this
right after 2 massive sales.

This was quite good timing

Notice to MK4S owners, the hit to make a Core One from MK4S is 400 something $. so do check that option.

Oh you found that....
Been editing the damn thing since yesterday afternoon, copyright claims all over as i can not work without music.
I must say, it did a good job of removing music and leaving my voice and other sounds still audible. :)
But takes ages, currently the 4th is getting edited out, i have 5 or 6 more to go. :(
Still, it does play consistently despite editing in the background. At least something works properly on youtube, given that the algorithm is a total disaster, very iffy and extremely bad at figuring what to show me on "new to you", it has a 2 o 5% hit rate. No wonder tiktok is wiping the floor with them...

The BTT Panda isn't going to work with Bambus if they have the new firmware - unless they're put in Developer mode.

The Panda uses the same external-device communication scheme as X1Plus 'firmware' - i.e. it's a front end, not actual firmware.

"Note that the Panda Touch warranty does not cover lost functionality due to a Bambu Lab firmware update being performed."
