It is best to name your xml file the same as your configuration and compress your xml file and attach with the Add File button.
Here you go.

Hi John,
Thank you for the config. Sorry for the inconvenience caused by the naming and upload method.
Would it be possible to get the tool you use for conversion from Mach XML to StepConf? I suppose it could not be polished or perfect yet, but would be good to learn how different parameters are matched and converted. Purely for personal "educational" purposes.
Best regards:
James

It's just a python script that reads in the xml file and creates the stepconf xml file from the entries it finds.

Hi John,
I get an "Internal Server Error" when I want to download the attached zip and of course nothing is downloaded.
Maybe just renaming it to "mark.zip" would work ...

Odd but changing the name an uploading again worked. I sure am glad the LinuxCNC software isn't as buggy as the forum software!

Hi John,
I bought a simple 3 axis cnc mill machine with mach3 software, now I would like to use it with linuxcnc.
Would you be so kind to translate my xml to StepConf?
Thank you for your help in advance!
Matt
p.s. Since there are three xml files in Mach3 folder, I hope this one is correct.

Looks like Mach3Mill.xml is a standard name so I renamed yours Mach3MillCM.
