Hello chimeno,
I can report that there was no error in the xml, nor in the other configs.
I have tested to disconnected the EL1008 and removed from the config, then I can start linuxcnc.
The terminal EL1008 has been broken on channel 0 anyway, I think the whole terminal is now defective.
Nevertheless many thanks for the info from you
PS: Sorry for my bad english, i want to get better

Hello,
i sucessfully installed the linuxcnc ethercat drivers and managed to get it work with EK1100 and some EL1004 Inputs. Problem is, that i have KL modules here which i have to use. Now i cant use the KL modules without a coupler for the K-Bus modules. At the moment i dont have one.
Can anyone here say if its possible to use also those K-Bus components with eg. a BK1150? (togehter with my existing/already working EK1100 or E-Bus modules)
Thank you very much for the answers! I will post also a new thread for the machine which i want to equip with these things
Cheers
Conny

Hello Jim Panski,
the K-BUS protocol I looked at it a long time ago, it's not compatible, maybe someone knows something else about it.
regards
Chimeno

Thank you Chimeno for your excellent work,
EL3773 | Power monitoring oversampling terminal
The EtherCAT Terminal EL3773 is a power monitoring terminal for state monitoring of a 3-phase AC voltage system. For each phase voltages up to 288 Veff/410 V DC and currents up to 1 Aeff/1.5 A DC are sampled as instantaneous values with a resolution of 16 bits. The six channels are measured simultaneously based on the EtherCAT oversampling principle with a temporal resolution of up to 100 µs and passed on to the control system. The control system has sufficient computing power for true RMS or performance calculation and complex custom algorithms based on the measured voltages and currents. Through the oversampling principle the terminal is able to measure at significantly shorter intervals than the cycle time of the control system. AC and DC parameters must be connected and measured with a common reference potential. The EL3773 supports distributed clocks and can therefore measure synchronous with other EtherCAT devices.

That is interesting, especially here as the mains fluctuate a lot.

Tommy,
If you have a modern frequency transformer, you can connect this one to linuxcnc too and read out diagnostics about different value's.
We can ask the Iranic stuxnet victem's for more info.
The EL3773 makes life easyer if you need this component. Just add a few xml lines....
We have to think about backuping more Linux Ethercat component's to the Git.
If the hard disk of the forum crashes. It will be a nightmare.

If it is not to much to ask, can someone please make a list of Beckhoff equipment that works with Linuxcnc. That would make it easier for users to decide on what to buy.
Thank you.
Thank you.
