Thank you for helping us out scott!
This is what ethercat pdos looks like after power-cycling (ethercat_pdos.txt) and ethercat pdos after LCNC start and subsequent shutdown (ethercat_pdos_after_startup.txt). I have also attached the XML file I am currently using.

Thanks. Nothing leaps out at me here, although I'm not sure that the DC config is right. To verify that, I need the ESI file for the LC10E. Failing that, the information *might* be in the LC10E manual.
This is surprisingly difficult to find. servo.xlichuan.com shows up on Google but doesn't list the LC10E or anything similar. Aliexpress has a broken link to www.lichuanservomotor.com/; cutting and pasting that shows "Ethercat AC Serco Motor kit" listings that show the LC10E (and have images labeled "LC10E") but don't actually use the term "LC10E" in text anywhere.
Searching Google a bit more turns up aqtronic.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/...manual-A5-driver.pdf, which says that it's the LC10 (non-E) manual, but has "A5" in the description. Looking at the Lichuan A5 on their website shows that it's *also* called the LC10, and that it comes in two flavors, the LC10P and LC10E. But that's in an image, so you can't search for it. Of course. The A5 manual is more or less identical to the one linked above. It says that there's an EtherCAT version, but provides no information whatsoever about EtherCAT beyond that. No SDO info, etc.
I *think* this is a new product for them; they posted about it on Youtube and Facebook in late April, so maybe the English-language manual is still waiting for translation? I'll poke at their FB page and see how helpful they are.

I have created a folder which contains the user manual which I have received from Lichuan as well as the XML-File provided (LC10E V1.04_slave_description_source_lichuan.xml). I have also generated a slave description XML after power-cycling with the "ethercat xml" command (LC10E_slave_description). From the XML provided by Lichuan I took a screenshot from the DC section.

The LC10E / A5 Ethercat manual is not on their website as far as I could find.
They emailed me a copy. I have put it, and the XML file they sent me on OneDrive:

I'm rather keen to hear how these units worked out and if they are worth it over a more regular closed system stepper... I was looking at the dual 750w motor for a full sheet CNC Rack and Pinion .

I have the 200w version. For about 150$, its awesome. Of course its not comparable to a yaskawa or other 1000$+ servos, it doesnt come with a pc software for tuning etc. No autotuning.
Struggling with ethercat+linuxcnc atm. Under Windows with TwinCAT the servo worked well.

My contact at Lichuan sent me the Windows program for configuring the driver, My servos just arrived yesterday, so I haven't tried it.

I configured the pdo´s in twincat, started linuxcnc and got the same error messages as in the last post. Then unplugged the ethernet cable and put it back in while linuxcnc was loading and it worked! Servopack had OP status and i was able to control the servo and see the position via linuxcnc with the files from trisa25. So there is no problem with the files he provided.
ts a problem with the synchronisation maybe? But cant reproduce it atm.
