I'll get these motors and drivers any day now. I'm gradually figuring out the configuration. And I have a question, why specify these empty blocks? Will it work without them?

EDIT: Yes, they are needed.

please can those that have this working say the model. I've been looking at 3/4 80 series 23bit absolute with brake.

i would like to hear if there is a working config for the 32bit and brake before ordering.

I can confirm, everything works fine. Just in case, you can additionally compare this configuration with the documentation for your driver.

My model is LC10E, motor with 17 bit absolute multi turn encoder.

    <complexEntry bitLen="1" halPin="do-1" halType="bit"/>

I also have this driver.  What are you using to power it?  I thought it might be my power supply.

Has anyone solve "the start lcnc before plug in ethernet cable" issue yet?
i have the same thing but my driver are lichuan closed loop stepper CL3-E86H
I got it to run but still have to do the ritual every times I turn on the machine

Hello everyone

First, thank you all for the work put into getting these drives running with linuxcnc. This is amazing!

I have a setup with 3x 1 kW motors and 23bit absolute encoders which works perfect.

Did some of you also notice this high pitch whining noise originating from the drivers when they are online? Maybe coilwhine? Are there means to eliminate this? EMI filter needed?

Hey first of all thank you all for your awesome work!!
I have the same setup (I think) (www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006913304675...n.112.45bb1802PVhuo5)
And yes I can also hear the whining sound while the drives are active.
@Sandro would you be willing to share your whole config? I'm still very new to the whole config thing and the more files I have to compare to each other the faster I can learn.
