Planning to Retrofit a Mazak Integrex200Y Mill-Turn Machine

Category: Advanced Configuration

Worked fine (had to scale it 10x).

This is the modified turning operation (which works in TCP mode now).
Warning: Spoiler!

Note the tilted b-axis to compensate for the chosen tool:

Alternatively the operator could also orient to tool spindle 180° (m19 r180) and run it with b0 and the work spindle turning in the opposite direction:

As already pointed out, the milling operation using 'G19' does not work:

Is there a way to change this to 'regular' G17 in the PP?

I don't know what else to do. Except look for a motherboard that has video output.
Or maybe buy new hardware?

In case it didn't work in solidworks here it is in ASCII format. In Fusion you have to take some extra steps to export it in ASCII format.

Also it looks like you have rotational offsets set.

It looks right to me. G54 X and Y offsets are zero, so are in the same place as G53.

What were you expecting to see?

there are two versions of STL files, ASCII and Binary, you have a binary file and vismach can only read the ASCII format

I exported it in STL and OBJ. I had problems getting Fusion STL export into vismach. OBJ worked flawless. Thank you!

Machine On Timer

Category: General LinuxCNC Questions

Hi
I have a small but little annoying problem that I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction to.

I am running the Axis UI, and when I click the estop button and then the machine on button, my servo drives are initialized and then enabled.  My problem is that it takes approx. 10sec for my servos to startup, if I try and jog or home before my servos start the dros click over but no motion is done.  Is there a way I can put a timer in the system that won't allow any motion for that initial 10sec or so after the machine on button is pressed?

Regards
Andrew

Beginner Building a CNC - Questions About EtherCAT with Delta A2 and In

Category: General LinuxCNC Questions

Hi, thank you for your help.

I believe I’ve found the ideal combination: using a Mesa 7i95T together with a 7i85

7i95t for 6 axis xyzca and in future spindle servo and 7i85 for toll changer

If I’m mistaken or missing something, I’d appreciate your corrections.

The config should be ok now and I don't know of any obvious thing to do..
I made a quick search and there seems to be a problem with the CL3-E57H, in which order power, linuxcnc and network cable are activated, I might have got that wrong. Maybe you find something in that thread

Remora - ethernet NVEM / EC300 / EC500 cnc board

Category: Computers and Hardware

DarkPheonix - that one got lost in translation. i kind of understand but if you can take a short video that would be great

Spyder - yes, the .not is used to invert the pin without having to use a linuxcnc not component. the probe looks good, the estop latch might not get reset for some reason leaving it in estop if i understand the logic of it from here.

adm1n - most of this one can be used but we gotta modify the nvmpg inputs to be normal ones
