You are right about educated people, but at some point they stop and fight back, and if history is a frame of reference, almost always to late. :)
As for you, i do not agree at all, just your knowledge of computers sets you way above the "medium".

Actually highly educated can be easily controlled as well. Would you like being told everything you've thought to be true is wrong. Would you like to be thinking in a way that would get you ridiculed .....even cancelled in this current climate ?

I don't think education is the full story, it's whether you want to take the time to look into things and question common beliefs. Being inquisitive is the key.

There's also the thing about wanting to fit in as well, many people want to fit in, I guess that comes down to human nature. Just because there's a consensus doesn't mean it's so.

By all metrics I'm classed as lowly educated.

Thank you for your responses.

I tried the following:
DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=nodocs dpkg-buildpackage -uc -B
DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=nodocs dpkg-buildpackage -uc -b
and a few others but always get exactly the same result.

looking at man dpkg-buildpackage I see
-b equivalent to --build=binary or --build=any.all
-B equivalent to --build=any

nodocs isn't an option for DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS by default but it does note "that other options honored by debian/rules might be defined by distribution specific policies." So now I'm off chasing that down.

I also noted that under man dpkg-buildflags(1) there is some interesting info on fortify. I'll chase that later if that problem remains.

Could (I suspect) be distro related so I expect some settings/options will need to dialed in.

G7x and profile in subroutine with parameters

Category: G&M Codes

M2 should always be outside a subroutine, so place M2 after each endsub, and your construct should work.
As you can only use 2 variables, and there is no option to enter a global variable in MDI, it will be difficult to bring the values to your code.
The contur o100sub is in the macro file. If you keep it like that, you need to modify in the macrofile anyway. how about use the default values #3 #4 #5 as this might not change often, only submit #1 and #2 as variable.

Installation 2.9.4 Debian Bookworm Preempt-RT ISO // Probleme

Category: Deutsch

Hallo Zusammen,

ok, z motor hooked up and powered.

im basically lost at this point.

anyone want to walk me through or point me to nice simple sequential "do this then this" instructions?

as of right now i did the ethercat install, and nothing much else. if i type ethercat slaves in the terminal it shows me nothing.

here is my drive manual

Remora - ethernet NVEM / EC300 / EC500 cnc board

Category: Computers and Hardware

Hello,
Does anybody know how data is formatted for NVMPG to display XYZ data, etc.?
I wanted to use this mpg in another project, but I cannot make it work from source files for stm32 and linuxCNC.
If anybody has a spreadsheet of these signals or a logic analyzer to see what is going to the mpg, I would be grateful, and I could make a tutorial about using it for other stuff as a cheaper alternative to other mpg.
All I know for sure at the moment is the baudrate and button codes, but it was an easy part of it...
Thank you in advance

As Tommy said, balls screws are a poor choice as you can't get the speed out of them and they whip.
Either belts or rack and pinion (with 3:1 to 5:1 reduction)
nodocs has changed. refer the docs :)
