Since versa probe is part of the screen you must connect pins in a _postgui_ HAL file.
Did you do that?

Since you are using the optional spindle-raise-on-pause, (which uses spindle.0.inhibit) you must add an OR component so either 'spindle pause' or 'probe installed' will inhibit the spindle.

still not able to ping

quite and fast question .... linuxcnc work quite well ... now need to dowgrade to gcc9 from stndard gcc12 .... can i have some problem compilingf for example a new custom kinematics? 

Ask these because sees all new kernel request for running linuxcnc 2.9.1, 2.9.2 and 2.10 have as default minimum gcc10 ..... and never try install lcnc 2.9.2 in a system with less than gcc9 .....

this machine will work for a few days in Axis gui and then stops communicating. Resource temporarily unavailable. no communication lights on the rj45 connector on the mesa 7i96 and unable to ping 10.10.10.10. i didn't change anything. im also having some other communication problems within Axis when it was running. my servo spindle will have a long delay before linuxcnc tells it to turn on. minutes agter i turn it on, it comes on. i checked the wiring. its the same issue ive been having. its not new. a reinstall of the os would be a work around but ultimatley, that doesn't fix anything. i am not getting the watchdog error light(red light on the mesa 7i96s. )

Don't try to fix this by shuffling the axes. Leave the system set up as XYUV.

As far as I can tell your issue is purely with the display on the screen?

Try editing glnav.py around line 444. (on a very slow connection on a train, can't check where the file is, but probably /usr/share/linuxcnc

The self.lat and self.lon numbers set the view in sperical coordinates. So set htese to alter the orientation of the default perspective view.

It's a Python file, so no need to recompile. Thogh you may need to restart linuxcnc.

also, If i add   qtversaprobe.probe-loaded   to a .hal file loaded through the .ini, qtdragon fails to start with './spin.hal:2: Pin 'qtversaprobe.probe-loaded' does not exist'  error.

so, how, exactly, should this be coded in .hal ???  and how loaded ???

note:  after your change, I do a git pull, and a complete rebuild and install

I have a rebuilt 4-axis foam cutter working with 2.9.3, but I would like to change how it is displayed in Axis.  The default display is XY; UV, with the wire vertical.  In reality, the axes are YZ; VW, with the wire horizontal.  I have tried changing all occurrences of XYUV to YZVW in the axis_foam.ini simulation, which does not give any error messages, but no change is visible in the Axis preview.  It still shows the UV plane above the XY plane with the wire between.

Any suggestions on how to achieve this?

Prima das Dein Zylinder Sensoren hat.Leider können wir nicht meine HAL nehmen weil ander Voraussetzungen vorliegen. Schaue Dir mal folgendes Video an Wichtig ist die Klemmung der Achse.

Under MesaCT I don't see that particular firmware as an option, and none have rcpwm.

When I go to the Mesa site to download that firmware it comes up "account suspend"!

Is there another location to grab firmware files?

I am trying to unlock the spindle menu.  Without success .  I am trying to make an example configuration for a closed loop spindle with a +-10V PWM/Dir signal   With maximum error protection - Maximum difference between set rpm and actual rpm . The spindle is a servo motor.
 

Das Problem ist, dass der 5I25 für den Betrieb mit 5 V und 3,3 V ausgelegt ist PCI-kompatible Motherboards haben also Steckplätze für beide Arten von Motherboards Tasten. Wie tommylight sagt, ist dies in einem normalen Fall in Ordnung, in dem Sie nicht Stecke es rückwärts ein, aber eine Gefahr mit einem Adapter. Schade, dass die PCI SIG Die Tasten symmetrisch gemacht.
