MESA 7i76eu – I/O - Spannungsversorgung

Category: Deutsch

Do you have the drive manual?

Is this a 5V push-pull output?

MESA 7i76eu – I/O - Spannungsversorgung

Category: Deutsch

Fixing some typos in the documentation

Category: LinuxCNC Documents

Hiya,

I'm new and am going through the documentation for the first time. I have noticed some typos so figured I'll fix them while I'm here.

As per  linuxcnc.org/docs/stable/html/code/contr...rview_of_the_process , this is my attempt to communicate with the project developers and let you all know what I am hacking on, explain what I am doing and why.

I've cloned the repo and will submit a pull request with some changes as soon as I figure out how to do that.

I'll also send a message to the mailing list. Please let me know if anyone has any objections or concerns.

Regards,
John

Machine plasma torch IPTM-80 and ohmic sensor

Category: Plasmac

You have to compare with the data sheet of the recom www.tme.eu/Document/cd1b5f2ae4e38e422d024220d341ab42/RS3KZ.pdf
It looks like Ctrl is reversed? Apply voltage to switch off? Or am I wrong. One want the module to be off and actively switch on.

[SOLVED] "syntax error in VERSION script" compiling kins with Halcompile.

Category: Advanced Configuration

I have found a solution to the problem often seen when trying to compile Kinematics (or occasionally other) modules  from C-code with halcompile.

Solution:

Make sure that the .c file contains the following code and the problem should be solved.
#include "rtapi_app.h"

This requires the file to supply an app_main and exit:
int comp_id;
int rtapi_app_main(void) {
    comp_id = hal_init("bipodkins");
    hal_ready(comp_id);
    return comp_id;
}

void rtapi_app_exit(void)
{
  hal_exit(comp_id);
}

Explanation

Halcompile creates a Makefile to compile the component. This includes Makefile.modinc

Makefile.modinc contains this code:
    $(Q)objdump -w -j .rtapi_export -t $*.tmp \
    | awk 'BEGIN{print "{ global :"} /rtapi_exported_/{printf("%s;\n", substr($$6,16))} END{print "local : * ; };"}' \
    > $*.ver

Which is what creates the modulename.ver file that the complaint is about. Without #include "rtapi_app.h" the .rtapi_export section doesn't exist, so the .ver file is invalid.

Adding the header is enough to complile the module, but it will then fail to load without an rtapi_app_main()

Seeking best practice advices for precision double side machining

Category: CAD CAM

It wouldn't have anything to do with jaw lift when tightening the vice ?
Does the fixture support the stock fully along the side that is contact or have you allowed for a "hollow" in the middle of the design of the part and fixture allows for this.

Proposal RPi Linuxcnc Image Based on Raspi OS All welcome/encoraged to comment

Category: Installing LinuxCNC

I'll need your advice regarding setting up Ethercat repos Rod, and whether a 6.12.34 kernel is supported. As I kept to the RPi rt kernel from their repo. And one kernel supports both the 4 and 5.

Machine plasma torch IPTM-80 and ohmic sensor

Category: Plasmac

I only found this recom dc-dc converter and bought it from tme.eu
www.tme.eu/en/details/rs3k-2424sz_h3/dc-dc-converters/recom/
I see that Mouser, Digikey, Farnell and those big ones have the item.
Can't find it on cheap places ebay, alix etc.

RaspberryPi 4/5 Ethercat Rtelligent ECT60 Synchronization error

Category: EtherCAT

I'm not too sure if this may help
github.com/MichaIng/DietPi/issues/6577

The power saving feature shouldn't be kicking whilst there is traffic, but stranger things do happen. And I know the RPi is on a later kernel.
Actually that reminds me I'll have to talk to Rod about Ethercat repos for the new image.

Machine plasma torch IPTM-80 and ohmic sensor

Category: Plasmac

I'm not good at electronics. i will try implement a hypersensing circuit from plasma-cnc-primer docs with yours schematic. similarly, without surgery in a long cable.

for ohmic sense i only have thcad-10. i have thcad-300 but i used it for THC in this plasma cutter with 1:1 devider.

I found almost all the components (FY0022 + FY0023 connector,24VDC >20A relay ). but i can't find Isolated dc-dc converter with on/off signal.

Try to activate Gladevcp with setp gladevcp -> Linuxcnc

Category: GladeVCP

Hello,
i try to activate some glade functions. Therefore i use "gladevcp.table1 1" in my custom_postgui.hal.
In the attached file i deactivated "gladevcp.table1 1". Then you can see the light grey button/leds but you can´t use them. If activated you just see a blank site.
