Idk what else to try. This seems really weird to me. And yes the preview looked perfect. So does the parts I've tried to cut.

I missed that Tom. It is good in previews here on sims as well, and it should as it is only a simple bit of code.

Baffling...

Also checked the sim on 3 PC's, all good.
Unfortunately, just yesterday it got to my brain that he was using the wizard, despite him mentioning that several times and was going to put that code here for him to try, but was testing some stuff so got sidetracked, and today forgot about it till Mike mentioned it, so thank you Mike_Eitel.
Also unfortunately i have no usable compressor that can do more than 5 seconds of cutting and no usable table ATM, so i could not test that. @##@$#@^!$^!%!@$%!@^%%#!@$!^@!

It also works fine on master.

Now I'm lost...

It is strange that it displays ok on your preview but doesn't track correctly on your machine. Did you try a pen plot with a new wizard code that doesn't have kerf width compensation?

I get the same issue with and without kerf width compensation on.

I didn't try without lead in/out. But it does this on parts too (other than wizard-generated).

Sorry, I thought it was only wizards, I am off on a tangent again...
So it is almost like slipping a tooth on a direction change. Is that an axis with one motor or two?

Y axis, 2 motors. Definitely not slipping a tooth. And cutting perfectly a 2in square using basic gcode that Tommy suggested.

Edit: but it is acting as-if it's slipping a tooth or something, just in the Y- direction.

That was what made me think it was wizards only. So the square you cut with Toms code is square on all corners and all sides have the correct dimensions.

That's correct. As if the waters weren't muddy enough on this already...
