Problem loading PlasmaC for the first time
If I comment the line out in connections.hal net plasmac:arc-voltage-in hm2_7i96.encoder.00.input-a => plasmac.arc-voltage-in
It will load and I can home the machine.
Am I using the correct pin ? I will try this in the morning hm2_7i96.0.encoder.00.velocity

Thanks Phill . That did the trick, now with the machine idle I see a very small fluctuation in the arc voltage close to zero (not calibrated yet so would expect this)
Q1. re the breakaway switch: With the torch in position the monitor shows RED (should the switch be NC or NO with the torch in position?)
Q2. Should the probe test button start the probing. I have not been able to get it to start the probe.
Thanks.

The indicator should be off when the torch is in position. I use a NC and use the inverted input (in-not).Actually I don't have a breakaway, I use the Float as a breakaway as well...Q1. re the breakaway switch: With the torch in position the monitor shows RED (should the switch be NC or NO with the torch in position?)
You need the machine homed for a probe test.Q2. Should the probe test button start the probing. I have not been able to get it to start the probe.

Yes I had the machine homed but did not get any response from the "probe test"

Check in the .ini file that the button code for the appropriate button is something like:Yes I had the machine homed but did not get any response from the "probe test"
probe-test 10

Or post your .ini file.probe-test 10
Breakaway switch sorted by inverting the pin by adding "_not" to it.
Probe test problem. I change the speed from 1 to 50 in the plasma config panel abd checked ini file for probe-test 10
Also on pressing "Z to top" button it errors "see screen shot"
I notice that the "Ohmic test button" randomly flashes in time with the arc voltage notification.

I see you are not using ohmic probing so you could reprogram that button to something else.
I am not sure what the random flashes would be.
Edit: Probing at 1mm per minute is very slow.

Yes I only have a scratch startTry changing the -0.0401 in the BUTTON_3_CODE line to -1.0 for the Z limit problem.

.
To be clear probe is not working yetProbe test problem. I changed the speed from 1 to 50 in the plasma config panel and checked ini file for probe-test 10

The Z limit problem is only there when pressing Z to top buttonAlso on pressing "Z to top" button it errors "see screen shot"
Thanks for the help.
