hal show works. I usually open up hal meter and select the ohmicsense.ohmic-volts pin

Ok thanks. So it’s causing you a bunch of false trips?

Correct. Then I either have to wait a while for it to dry out, or disassemble it completely and run the air through it. It's still not guaranteed to get it to drop the voltage. I'm not really sure how to prevent it though. If there was less noise/fluctuation on the line, it may be more controllable via the set points

What brand cutter are you using?
Do you use the encoder filter?

Ah, I figured it out. I already had defined plasmac:ohmic-enable in my connections.hal with:Sorry about that guys.
This is a hangover from my earlier relay based config.
I'm wondering now if the relay system would work with a short in the torch from water. Certainly the relays I used had on and off points well below the off threshold.
I wonder if its worth trying a 48 volt power supply and changing the THCAD scaling? Would that increase the on/off threshold. Maybe PCW could chime in here with his thoughts.
net plasmac:ohmic-enable plasmac.ohmic-enable => hm2_7i76e.0.7i76.0.0.output-11

@Rod
Do you want to change the bottom of the Primer to read something like:

Phill,
I think I am the outlier. It probably should just be:
Not many people will have used two different methods so it really was my bad.
I posted on another thread an idea for a different algorithm which might solve the water table issue. So I'll be interest to receive feedback

I thinking that folk you don't have ohmic setup at all won't have the plasmac:ohmic-enable signal and those that have relay ohmic will.

Yes I think they are mutually exclusive
