This is pretty cool! I have one of those cameras that I've never found to be useful as an endoscope. I may have to give this a go!

@Rod

How does this look?

The video is a bit sketchy but it should give you an idea of how it works, the inital edge mark can be on either the X axis edge or the Y axis edge.
Don't pay too much attention to the accuracy, my camera is at a bit of an odd angle due to the masking tape mounting "bracket".

Phill, Looks great. I think when you mark x0,y0 it should also set the origin so it becomes a 2 step process rather than 3. You will also need a button to clear the rotation (maybe you have that somewhere.).

It is not touchscreen friendly, it uses the existing qtvcp camview widget with a custom handler file hack and I wanted to keep it compatible with the original way it is used but I may change that.

For mouse/touchpad users the button instructions are in the first post.

Yep, no worries.

It is interesting that this is not touchscreen friendly but it is one of the few things I have done that works better into Gmoccapy than Axis. Unfortunately iin Axis it doesn't fill the tab. Another questions for Chris...

The Gmoccappy macros are quite good I have found. I think you can get it to ask you to enter values too. I just don't enjoy programming stuff like that in gcode.
