Yup that’s what I found. Thank you

I have an issue. The THC is doing its job, but it’s doing it’s job maybe a bit too well. It’s going up and down like crazy for no reason. well there a reason and I think it’s because it moves too fast going up so the voltage drops so it goes down then the voltage goes up because it’s going too fast for it’s own good.

Now to problem gets solved when I lower the percent of max velocity the thc has. But then I get the problem becomes this: the thc is too slow and it doesn’t move quick enough instead it just hits the metal that’s curved up.

Now I was testing the thc on a drastically curved piece of metal, one that’s unrealistic in the field but I wanted it to be able to do it just because, I didn’t foresee this issue. So should I just accept that the kind of bend isn’t going to happen or is there a way to make the thc be able to adapt quickly without causing the problem?

So what value was THC% when it was too fast and what value was THC% when it was too slow?

It’s too fast anything above %30. And it’s too slow at 30%. Even at 30% it’s constantly moving up and down. But it’s not as drastic. It’s moving up and down on flat metal btw

If it is moving up and down while flat then I think you need to fine tune your Proma settings

I agree. But I don’t really understand what they do exactly.

There are three settings, other then voltage, to alter

Hysteresis, delay time, and high voltage. Their explanations either have nothing to do with my issue or I don’t understand them. Or both.

Hysteresis would be the amount of voltage variation from the set voltage, so if your set voltage was 100 and the hysteresis was 2 then the range would be from 99V to 101V

Ok, so if I mad it 4 then it would wait until 98 and 102 to move up and down respectively if the voltage was set to 100?

I think that is how they work, I have never seen one.
