Not sure what io you have but if it is a 7i96 then it would something like this in your connections.hal file:
hm2_7i96.0.gpio.008.in_not
it is a parallel port

It's the same thing, just take whatever your current pin is and add "-not" to the end of it. Also, I think it can be "-not" or "_not" and both will work the same.

the herocut 55i works well for the moment no bug at the computer level to succeed in making it work I must simulate arc Ok with an interuptor because if not I have an error message arc valid signal lost
you need a pull resistor up or other on the arc exit Ok on the herocut?

The torch should be up before starting a cut. Having it low will void the probe speed and run it at setup speed.

+1.
See the third sentence: linuxcnc.org/docs/devel/html/plasma/plas....html#_using_plasmac
I have been giving some serious thought to having the filter program automatically place a Z move to just below the max height for the first cut.

I would not bother with it, on machines with limit switches it is not an issue, and adding the "material 0" button takes care of that. I use a laser for material edge finding so i have to use that feature. Although adding a G53 Z10 or simillar to the top of the gcode should also do.

I'm a fan of this. My touch-off button is modified to have a G53 Z0.196 so that when I zero X and Y I dont forget to jog the torch back to the top.
It seems it would save a lot of new users a lot of headache.

if I deactivate arc Ok and put 4 seconds of delay it works

hello
my herocut 55x and the Thc102 is working perfectly www.ebay.com/itm/THC-Torch-Height-Contro...utting-/264991610425
I wanted to know if it is possible to make the torch not go up at the end of the gcode?
