Looks like your missing something still, allot of funny looking button text going on in there, not sure what's up with that. Are you about to open the GUI? Or just the designer?

That is just the designer working to a certain extent, as you pointed out there are a lot of things missing, or not uploaded yet maybe ???

When I update qtpyvcp it doesn't seem to update probe screen. Mine says not set for some status labels.

Also if you open the UI by double clicking them they don't open with all the icons. I have always has to open it via editvcp in the terminal

Updating qtpyvcp should update ProbeBasic. What status labels say not set?

You have to use the editvcp command edit a VCP in designer. The editvcp command does a lot more then just open the UI file, it also reads in the YAML config file to load custom plugins, themes, style sheets etc. and then sets up the environment and adds hooks to designer.

I opened it as a Sim ant they seem ok but if it's opened in the editor it's not. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong spot.

Ah, if LCNC is not running when you edit the VCP some data is not available, so some labels will say N/A or Not Set.

I don't know if I missed this already in a previous post, but question:
Is it possible to configure a UI (modular-like) when "installing" it whereby you can have it contain the features your machine has and hide ones that it doesn't?... or am I gonna have to take out a payday loan to build a tool changer carousel and buy some Renishaw stuff?
