Another video showing the way removable USB storage devices are handles.
Something I forgot to show, is that it will warn you if you try to eject a USB that a program is currently running from.

Here is an example of the current user configurable options for file locations.
  file_locations:
    provider: qtpyvcp.plugins.file_locations:FileLocations
    log_level: debug
    kwargs:
      default_location: NC Files
      local_locations:
        # format: Location Name: path
        Home: ~/
        Desktop: ~/Desktop
        NC Files: ~/linuxcnc/nc_files
      network_locations:
        DropBox: ~/DropBox/gcode

Cheers,
Kurt

Its perfect for me, Kurt.

Cheers,
Pinder

Sometimes messages here are inefficient.
Would it be okay if I create discord server or telegram group?
also answer telegram or discord.
Updates and suggestions will be here and public.

Probably best to use the QtPyVCP dev channel. It's available via IRC, matrix, discord, gitter and probably others I'm forgetting. And many of the people that give feedback here are already in that channel, so makes it easier for everyone.

IRC: webchat.freenode.net/?channels=%23hazzy
Matrix: riot.im/app/#/room/#qtpyvcp:matrix.org
Gitter: gitter.im/kcjengr/qtpyvcp
Discord: discord.gg/463hMhd

Can I be picky?

I don't like the skuemorphic 7-segment numbers.
I think that properly-formed numbers are fractionally easier to read (especially in the conversational dialog boxes)

Can you suggest some monospace fonts?

I started with 7 segment fonts in my mind, that what most machinist are habitual to. I can be wrong, but I see more 7 seg displays than LCD's . On mill dro, Vfd, Temprature sensors or micrometers, calipers.

I think we can change fonts in fonts in Places other than THC voltage and DRO.

Moreover, community is over myself. If more people want that, we can change them from everywhere.

We can make everybody happy and define the fonts in a separate style sheet file. The font options can be predefined, and the user can comment/uncomment to set the preferred font.

Yes, but that is because that is all that they can do, because they really do have 7-segment displays.
