Hi, has anyone tried MonoKrom on a mill yet. I think it would be fun to keep the oldschool look of my current retrofit project. For my other machines I’ve used probe basic, but I am not sure if it fits the screen I’ve here.
Thanks Patrick

Hazzy did the initial mill work. But don’t know if he has done anything more than sim tests with it. I’m solely focused on the plasma version slowly nibbling at the long road to catchup with qtplasmac.

A short update. With reference to
forum.linuxcnc.org/media/kunena/attachments/22732/param-run.jpg
The save/update/reload/new have been implemented on the combination of process-filters to process-parameters.
I'm also working on a simple "behind the scenes" script to seed a filters/parameters cut database from sheetcam tool files or a standard tabular format. The pattern being to convert from a source (sheetcam being the most likely source, but other popular formats could be supported) to the common tabular text format (just tab separated csv) which will be loadable into the qtpyvcp plasma database via the frameworks plasma-processes plugin.
The next stage is to get the linkage to hole/slot cutting parameters for hole/slot auto detection. The intent being to support process adjustment on gcode load.
Cheers - James.

A short video showing the new material/cut selection Model i was working on recently. Some “fat finger” tuning to be done but hopefully it gives the general idea.

Just took a short look at the mill version. its really at an early state with a lot work to do. Is there a way to get the development version like with Probe Basic?

New screen video of the interaction between gcode file, the filter program, the cutchart DB and the UI. Audio might be a little loud so suggest you turn down to start with and increase to comfortable levels.
