I pushed a sim to master to test the MPG work.
Its in sim/qtvcp_screens/qtdragon/qtdragon_mpg.ini

It has a sim MPG loaded automatically

For me, "qtdragon_mpg.ini" does not run the "sim_panel" panel, but if I run it manually, it works. The changes in the highlighted frames work, the normal axis direction buttons do not work, maybe additional pins need to be added, or something... It would be best if someone could tested with real MPG.

Are you going to introduce a more flexible qtdragon?
If so, I'll work on the details, if not, I won't waste my time. I think it's worth it, because it has no negative impact on current resolutions, and maybe it will be useful to someone.

Are you using an installed version of linuxcnc or a compiled?

I use the installed version, but I also have a version compiled on a virtual machine.

You can push it, but I think it will take 2-3 days to send a more refined version.

There are problems (quite critical) with the pause and the spindle stop and lift function.

1. If I pause the button, the spindle will rise and stop, but if I resume operation from the keyboard (pause or spacebar), the program resumes operation but does not start the spindle and will not lower it down. (I use "at speed" speed control)

2. If I resume operation and press pause again relatively quickly (about 0.5-1 sec before the spindle spins up to the set speed), the spindle will stop spinning but the machine continues to work with the spindle turned off.

I forgot about the pause key binding - that should be easy to fix.

I see the repause problem here and will work on the fix.

Thank you.

I am uploading the corrected qtdragon.ui file. There are no major changes, but there are a lot of changes that improve the better fit of the elements and more proportional stretching.

I tested the keyboard pause problem a lot and generally everything works as it should. But it sometimes happens that problem number 2 from the previous post still occurs. This happens very rarely, so I run this command from the console and it works much more often. "halcmd setp qtdragon.external-pause 0 ;sleep 1.738 ;halcmd setp qtdragon.external-pause 1" . It seems that the problem with pressing the pause button occurs when the spindle reaches full speed and just before it starts moving. Then the spindle stops and the machine starts moving. This effect was also observed in a simulation on a virtual machine.
