Please test this configuration is 10.04 and EMC version 2.4.6 or lowest. And 2.4.5 and the highest.

Can you try setting the stepgens maxaccell to a reasonable value (say 10% higher than the mechanical maxaxcell)

Please test and this configuration is a software stepgen and do the same (joint folloving error).

Reset statistics.. Such latency ARISING start glxgears. After reset statistics'd still low.

Can you chart what works and what doesn't work? with Ubunto, EMC versions listed and all using the same HAL/INI files? This will be hard to find without very specific information
