Thanks for the photos . Other than newer computer a "T" series does seem the same as other MH400 xx machines. A machine I got also had a broken white plastic shifting gear.
Are you going to re-use the old keyboard ? If so it would get you some bragging rights !
For those that have a rotary axis here is a link to the ROD 271

Found the videos , my thinking is compare the brief scans of the lathe control panel to the Deckel control panel . Of note to me was the lathe control panel using also a non stainless material.
There is also some ".A" axis lust and a very brief bit on his coolant system. Wish Mr Roger M would video more on those machines --- Hint Hint Wish Wish
Keyboard Control
Coolant
Mark looking at the remains of the slotter cutting bit -- I am wondering if that was just a excuse to justify having a tool & cutter grinder ?

As far as I know his mister system is entirely home-made, down to the firmware that runs it and the display panel.
I have a picture that shows his control console from a different angle.
It's a pity the f1-2000.co.uk went down, some of his scale model stuff is astonishing.

Hi all for this forum
I bought this machine for starting with Linukcnc and Mesa cards, I hope that I will succeed because I have seen many good comments here.

Hi, That looks like a real beast. Please post some pictures of the layout inside the control cabinet. What control does it currently have? Which linear encoders are fitted? Does it have a tool changer, pallet changer etc?
Does the current control work? Do you have the wiring schematics for it. You really need them to do a retrofit.
Mark
