do you have more papers in the orange book as scanned into the pdf?
there should be an outprint/drawing of the pc programm. Then may be i can help you.
unfortunately in the orange book from the later dialog11 and tncs this is not included anymore.
When i'm finished with my gildemeister adventure, the deckel is the next on the list for linuxcnc. so it makes no matter for me if i code this now or next year...

Yes i do. I didnt scan it because i thought it was uneccesarry as i am replacing the old dialog with the mesa cards and all the dialog did was interfacing into the servo drives which i removed and the sps

But i noticed that they also support Fancy Modbus over ethernet cable might actually be easier to controll then through that cause you can just connect them together but i dont know how that works

As far as I know you would be the first to get that to work. This comes up every so often but Modbus is not not meant for coordinated movement. LinuxCNC can communicate through modbus but not inside the real time domain. Modbus can be useful for parametrization of the drives though and maybe to get status data from the drives to the PC i.e. current, torque, temperatures or whatever the drives firmware offers.

I was also wondering about MODBUS control of the Lichuan Servo draiver and got informed that this is not a real time capable interface...

Oh, this collection is fantastic. If you have the original papers and time for this, i would myself wish an better scan of the pages 19 and 20 from contour pdf. May be with this and a little time we can design our own 11uA Heidenhain scales interface. Instead of using old exe's.
