not yet complete need to do nice icons for menu bar.
mabe place below main view, any ideas?
left all axis functionality in place, only cosmetic changes.
herewith axis.tcl had to make it .txt file to upload
but you must change it to axis.tcl
and put it in usr share axis folder with su permission.

Kept it the same as per Tommys suggestions,
but can do anything you need to enhance for touch screen
maybe enlarge sliders etc.
I was thinking of making all the colours variables and having a
dialogue menu for users to customize the look themselves.
see attatched, dont forget to make it axis.tcl and put in usr\share\axis
with root permission

Sure will post icons when the set is complete, do you think i should keep the original naming in case they don't get uploaded by a user. or should we just go with text.
I can also embed the data in the axis.tcl file. it will remain small if i use index colours.
there is a color menu item please try it out for feedback purposes.
how many users still use Axis ?
Do you guys think its worth sorting this GUI out, I was also developing a qtpyvcp custom panel, but rather like axis, basically started with the first version a decade ago.
any suggestions welcome
