You are running RTAI kernel?
What video card/xorg driver?
Have you tried installing libgl1-mesa-swx11?

This is a standard RTAI install from live CD
it is running on Dell D610 with ATI Mobility Radeon X300 video card
I am not sure how to check XORG driver
Since this is a working CNC setup that I don't really want to touch or reinstall anything else untilI get another harddrive and make a clean install.
I have backup PC with Intel Atom MB that I may try later today, but if this does not work on D610, then I will not be able to use it on the actual machine

Installing libgl1-mesa-swx11 is usually harmless and in some cases improves latency.
Also you may check it with livecd image without installing to hard drive - boot, run apt-get update and everything else just like in normal setup.

I don't have latency problems with this setup - with disabled SMI I am running consistently below 7000, in most tests below 5000
If this is harmless then I will try it later on

libgl1-mesa-swx11 took care of the OpenGL issue, I can see image now in camview and camview-emc
Now another problem - I added lines to [Display] section of INI file, but I don't see camera tab
Should it work in 2.4.6 or I need 2.5.?

I am not sure what this means and what should I do with it?
What is .axisrc?

You need either 2.5 or .axisrc.
.axisrc is file (starting with dot) in home directory
You should copy provided snippet there

No, if your username is 'andy123' you need to edit file '/home/andy123/.axisrc'
