Hi
Can you help for encoder wiring to 7i76e ?
I have try with same wring as my old card (working finr)
Burned 2pcs Tcst2103, for now only A is not burned so i try to test with only this one
7i76e jumper set to single end encoder.
www.vishay.com/docs/81147/tcst2103.pdf
It is correct ?

Yes, that will work for a "A" only encoder
A ~120 Ohm LED current limit resistor should be about right (~35 mA LED current)
considering the 10-20 current transfer ratio and the 2K pullup resistors on the encoder inputs
Wiring:
+5V --> 120 Ohm --> TCST2103 LED anode --> GND
TCST2103 Collector --> 7I76E ENCA (ENCB,ENCIDX)
TCST2103 Emitter --> GND

That looks right, though I would probably put the 120 ohm resistor in the positive side of the LED
so if you accidentally ground the LED cathode lead you dont destroy the LED

I'm really happy at the end the 3 TCST2103 work fine !
Many thanks for wirering information.
Also really really happy with this powerfull mesa card

At same time a new question before starting to test.
How work the spindle modul regarding to offset for use with both rev/fw with -15 +15v connected ?
with my oldest card i need to offset pwm output to 50% for 0rpm

Whoa! Don't connect +-15V to the 7I76E spindle interface, that _will_ kill it
15V total (+-7.5V) is the maximum
15V total (+-7.5V) is the maximum

Too late...
In reality i can set +-10v but i think is also too much. and i have already do the wrong things.
I have now allways 10v on the spinout.
It is possible to fix this myself ? (i think this is not covered by warranty ) (only one chip to replace ?)
What is for you the good way for controlling this spindle KBMG-212D ?

15V is the data sheet specified max between SPIN- and SPIN+
There are 2 parts that could be damaged by excessive voltage between
SPIN- and SPIN+:
U25 CD4001BC (absolute max VDD = 20V)
U26 NCV5230 or NE5230 ( absolute max VCC-VEE = 18V)
Driving the KBMG-212D with a 7I76E spindle out could be done a couple of ways:
1. Supply 15V, offset the spindle output 1/2 way up in HAL and adjust the drive speed gain so +-7.5V is sufficient (if possible)
2. Supply 10V and use a small DPDT relay to swap the SPIN- and SPINOUT connections to the drive depending on
the SPINDIR state

what do you think about replacing by :
www.digchip.com/datasheets/parts/datasheet/456/HCF4001B-pdf.php
www.onsemi.com/pub/Collateral/NE5534-D.PDF
for your solution :
1 : With Gnd and +15v the 7i76e is able to output -7.5v ?
2 : you says "swap the SPIN- and SPINOUT" or you want to says "swap the SPIN- and SPIN+" ?
