Mesa 7i96 with SPINX1 to control spindle speed

 
hopefully I'm not thread-jacking. It seems I'm having an identical issue with my configuration (speed indicatior LED not illuminating/no speed response with VFD). I'm using a 7i95 and SPINx1. I've used John's latest config tool to generate the configuration. I've noticed the PWM Generators field is showing as "N/A" is that correct? seems like it should say "1" given I have flashed the 7i95_1pwmd firmware. I wasn't sure what kbec's final hal/ini file ended up looking like so I apologize if the issue I am having is glaringly obvious.

kbec, do you have a successful set of file you can share?     

 
 

My machine is down at the moment, I'll try to get it up in the next few days.

kbec, don’t worry about it, issue was between the keyboard and office chair. Once I gave the spindle an m3 s12000 all was well
