One thing I wondered is how thick the material is you used for the gantry?

gantry is the old xzero one. 3/4" plate, with 3/4" x 1.5" ribs. basically making a 5"x2.25"x.75" thick "channel". the lower bar connecting the uprights on the bottom is 1x3".

I am adding some reinforcing to prevent racking, you can see it in the last renders.

The "new" minimonster will be all 1" plate boxed with much less gantry span relative to travel, so it will be way stiffer,
