Have you tried it using the plasmac component or with your standard config?

I am using the same version as Phill, but i can not reproduce that behaviour ! When i hit ESC everything works properly.

Well... I have to hang my head in shame...
I was doing these tests in a sim which also runs a standalone window to simulate some controls and of course this window had the focus rather than the LCNC GUI.

HaHa, so was I.
I was having keybinding issues (of my own making) with a QtVCP panel and I totally confused myself.
It only cost me four days and a bit of embarrassment...
