Biesse usually uses Yaskawa drives and motors. What drives do you have? SGMP Yaskawa? If so there is no problem, but I would look at the manuals for your drives just to be sure they will work with the 7i77.
On another note, on the NC471 controller there is a connector that has the encoders, and the +-10v analog signals, so you dont have to change connectors on the drives. Also I got the enable wires from the controller.
The 7i77 only has 16 outputs so you will probably need another board like the 7i84 for outputs. This connects to the 7i77 via RS422.
You have 18 different tools so you have already busted the output limits on the 7i77. You have your spindle select, the gang drill motor, the stops that raise, different zones if your going to use them etc.... so calculate you outputs and inputs.
My machine is bigger but I use: 5i25-7i77, 7i74, 7i70, 2x7i71 and 7i84
Field power I use:
7i77 - 24vdc
7i84 -24vdc
2X7i71 - 24vdc
7i70 - 24vdc
7i84 - 12vdc
Sorry, just ranting.... hope this helps

My motors are:
Magnetic BR 60L 30/13 2Pcs.
Magnetic BR 60 S 30/12 1Pcs.
And the drivers:
Soprel PWME 140x25/50 1Pcs.
Soprel PWME 140x14/28 2Pcs.
The encoders are connected directly to the controller independly with a Sub-D 9 connector.
I have breakout boxes from Sub-D 9 to screw connector. So I don't have to touch the Sub-D 9 connector.
I know that I need more input/output. Therefore I'll use 7i84.
I already have an electrical scheme of all cabling on the machine, and checked this on the machine itself. That will be no problem
I first want to have the Rover 18 working with 1 (VDC) spindle

AH, those are dc servo's. You need to find the manual for those.
The 7i84 has 32 inputs and 16 outputs.Check and make sure your good with 32 outputs.

His is the schematic.
There are 2 connectors on the driver.
1 for the pover (nothing to change here)
and the other for the controls.
Pin 1B to 8B are connected to de enable, E-stop, ...
Pin 9B and 10B are connected to the controller
Pin 11B and 12B is the tachometer input
So I think, pin 9 and 10 are the +-10V input from the Mesa 7i77 (motor speed/dir)
The current controller has 16 inputs and 40 outputs (relais) wired.
But it will depends on how I want to use and rewire the machine.
Currently all the E-stops, driver enable, air pressure sensor, ... are in serie, and use only 1 input.
Maybe I'll seperate all this and use more inputs to make it more clear. All I have to do is learn Classic Ladder

Maybe a stupid question....
But I haven't received my Mesa cards yet.
In the mean time I want to do some test on de motors and drivers.
Therefore I need a power supply that is able to generate -+0V to -+10V.
Can this be done by 2 of these power supply like the Velleman LABPS3003 by connecting the negative from the first to the positive of the second?

You can normally connect but why??
This woud bring you a max of 60Volt

It is just because I would like to let the motors run (test)
If I understand well, I need a -0 to-10V and a +0 to +10V on the input of the Soprel driver

Use an AAA battery to see movement.
Not a good idea to stick 10v on those drives.

Agree, by 10V the motor will run run like crazy
But a power supply is adjustable.
and I need a negative voltage to let the motor run the other way
