For now that is not important, make them work first, then we'll get back to that.
Did you try moving the motors by hand when they are powered on ?
They should not turn, or not easily, they would require quite some force to move, if the drives are OK.
Make a video of moving them, maybe it helps get a sense of how much force they need for that.

motors are locked and cant be turn when power supply is on, turn off power supply shafts can be spun by hand.
my wiring
7i96 driver
step0
step (-) -> Pul (-)
step (+) -> Pul (+)
dir (+) -> dir (+)
dir (-) -> dir (-)
output
Tbe isolated I/O
OUT (0-) to -> ENA (-)
OUT (0+) to -> ENA (+)
tested power supply getting 36 volts to each driver.
i modify the configuration using PNCConf wizard and try to test the axis , no movement. I know the drivers work with the proma system. i'm at a lost

Can you please disconnect just one of the enable wires on one drive and test. If there is no movement, can you also reverse the step or pulse wires on that same drive and test again?
Thank you.
Thank you.

That looks OK though the enable wont do anything
(The OUT0+ and OUT0- are just terminals of a switch, the do not supply any power)
I am assuming that enable need not be connected to work
(this is standard on most stepper drives)
What lights are on the 7I96 when its running?
Have you tried just connecting STEP+ to 5V and STEP- to ground to see if the drive steps when you make the connection?
Some drives need more input current that you can generate with the differential
connection so if you can make the drive step with direct connections to 5V and GND
you might try a single ended connection:
STEP+ --> 7I96 5V
STEP- --> 7I96 STEP-

STEP+ --> 7I96 5V
STEP- --> 7I96 STEP-
on y axis and i got movement yay ,but only one direction what next?

wire direction the same way (single ended)
Did you verify that the 5V is OK at the 7I96?

5.11V coming in to the 7i96 board.
stepper motor is laying on its side, see link below , wires coming out of stepper motor are facing up, motor spins clockwise
www.automationtechnologiesinc.com/produc...23h2100-50-4b-cable/
working on moving the wires to test other directions

So on the x axis. If I do the following
From the 7i96 Dir (-) to —>driver dir(-)
Dir (+) to —>driver dir(+)
If I do 5v 7I96 --> Pul (+) Along with STEP+ From board to puls (-) on driver I can get counter clockwise rotation only on motor.
With the current Hal and Ini files when I jog the axis in linuxcnc it moves slower then if I test axis in the pnncof wizard. Any idea why that is ?
