As I mentioned, at least with by browser you can right click on the link
and get a "save link as" menu that allows you to chose the name and location
where the file is stored

OK isolcpus should be 1 and you need to turn off hyperthreading in the BIOS setup
so first fix that in the BIOS and grub, reboot and then run:
same routine:
chmod +x pinirq,txt
then
sudo ./pinirq.txt eth0
Then try running LinuxCNC again

Ok I just finished cutting 2 G-codes, one with 6 parts and the other with 2 parts.
one the first one it did seem to dive at the end but no error. I had be using a cut rule to turn off THC at the end at 0.250" before the end. I increased it to 0.500" for the last cuts, and I did not see the dive at the end. Attached is a screen shot of the part shapes, there are some sharp corners with no problems.
Not sure if any changed to the VAD threshold or PID setting would help with the diving. The members help is greatly appreciated.

Note that the mask change is only temporary
two more steps are needed to make it permanent:
1. add acpi_irq_nobalance the kernel command line (grub)
2. launch the pinirq script at startup (there are a couple of ways to do this
easiest may be with crontab)
