I think that if you put it _in_ the table then it can only be as big as a table cell.
Or maybe you can merge cells, I have forgotten.
Or possibly it can be in the same container as the table, but behind the table, like the images are.
I would put it in, and then see what new HAL pin appears.

That depends on what you call the Widget, I assume.2. what line in PostGui ? Hal_Meter ?

I managed to insert the HAL meter and scale it to my liking.
This is what I have but what to insert to lathe_postgui.hal (running SIM !!)
#net spindle-rpm-filtered => pyvcp.spindle-speed
#net spindle-at-speed => pyvcp.spindle-at-speed
## above is the lines for SIM

Should be something like:
Gladevcp.halmeter1....
Start linuxcnc and use halmeter or halcmds to search the available pin names to find out the exact name.

Thanks Chris,
Now I know where to look and there it was gladevcp.hal_meter1
Next question
I have now have 8 tabs in my LatheMacro, how can I get this Hal_Meter to show up on every tab?
It is now only on tab Turn.
Thanks for advise on how to
Bengt

I think you will need to have a separate one on every tab unless you put it somewhere in the container that contains the tabs.

A HAL Bar
www.linuxcnc.org/docs/html/gui/gladevcp.html#gladevcp:hal-bars
Under the surface-speed entry box might be a neater solution.
